For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

We believe that the church is not an event, a building, or an idea. The church is a people, and the local church is a specific group of people, people who are in covenant with God and with one another.
These basic doctrines from Valleydale Church's Statement of Faith represent what we believe to be the core of biblical teaching. For a morein-depthh look at these, download our statement of faith. In addition, as a Southern Baptist Church, Valleydale affirms the Baptist Faith & Message.
We commit to worship God corporately and to pursue God devotionally both in private and with our families. We will not forsake this worship, but commit to pursue God regularly, sacrificially, generously, and with humility.
We declare and establish this Constitution for the preservation of our faith and for the orderly government of this body commonly called Valleydale Church.
